Calculate calendar age instead of dividing days by an average year length. The calculation accounts for different month lengths and leap years.

Count completed calendar months first, then the days since the last completed month.

Uses Gregorian dates independently of the local time zone.
When the birth day does not exist in the target month, the last day is used. A February 29 birthday therefore completes a year on February 28 in a non-leap year.

Can I calculate age on a future date?

Yes. Choose the desired date in the second field. The birth date must be valid and cannot be in the future.

Why not divide the days by 30 to get months?

Calendar months have different lengths. This calculator uses actual completed calendar months.
